In today’s power-hungry world, rechargeable batteries have become a staple that is both convenient and environmentally friendly.GMCELL is a well-known name in the battery manufacturing industry and offers a range of USB rechargeable batteries. The purpose of this review is to evaluate the performance of GMCELL USB rechargeable batteries, with focus on voltage testing.

Voltage Testing

To test the voltage of the GMCELL USB rechargeable batteries, a precision digital multimeter was used. The batteries were fully charged using a standard USB port on a computer, following the recommended charging time provided by GMCELL. After charging, the open-circuit voltage (OCV) of each battery was measured immediately. Subsequently, the batteries were subjected to a simulated load test. A resistor with a value equivalent to the typical load of a common household device (such as a portable radio) was connected across the battery terminals, and the voltage was measured again under this loaded condition.

Results

• Open – Circuit Voltage: The GMCELL USB rechargeable AA batteries, rated at 1.5V, showed an average open – circuit voltage of 1.52V when fully charged. This indicates that the batteries are well – manufactured and can reach a voltage close to the nominal value. The AAA batteries, also with a nominal voltage of 1.5V, had an average OCV of 1.51V. These results suggest that GMCELL batteries have a reliable charging system that can bring the batteries to their optimal voltage levels.
• Loaded Voltage: Under the simulated load, the AA batteries maintained an average voltage of 1.45V, which is a very stable performance. This small drop in voltage under load demonstrates the battery’s ability to deliver a consistent power supply to devices. The AAA batteries showed a similar performance, with an average loaded voltage of 1.43V. This stable voltage output is crucial for devices that require a constant power source to function properly, such as remote controls and small electronic toys.
